Crohn’s disease Homeopathy Treatment India
Crohn’s disease is an inflammatory bowel disease characterized by the presence of ulcers in the small and large intestines, as well as abdominal pain, diarrhea, and bloody stools. It usually manifests itself between the ages of 18 and 40.

What causes Crohn’s disease?
Crohn’s disease is thought to be caused by a combination of the following factors: Immune system disorder when your immune system incorrectly attacks digestive tract cells while fighting an invading virus that causes Crohn’s disease.
Crohn’s disease is frequently diagnosed in people with a family/genetic history. Environmental factors include smoking, poor diet, stress, and the use of certain medications and drugs (NSAIDs).

Symptoms of Crohn’s disease
What are the signs and symptoms of Crohn’s disease?
Crohn’s disease symptoms include:

  1. Stomach ache. The pain is frequently described as cramping and intermittent, and the stomach may be tender when touched. As the condition worsens, belly pain may become a dull, constant ache.
  2. Diarrhea is the second symptom. Some people may experience diarrhea 10 to 20 times per day. They may wake up in the middle of the night and need to use the restroom.
  3. Blood in your stools. Crohn’s disease can result in blood in the stools, but not always. You may notice bright red blood or darker blood mixed with your stool in the toilet bowl. You can also have invisible bleeding (occult blood).
  4. Appetite suppression. Abdominal pain and cramping, as well as an inflammatory response in the bowel wall can impair both your appetite and your ability to digest and absorb food.
  5. Mouth ulcers
  6. Fever. In severe cases, fever or other symptoms affecting the entire body are likely to develop as a result of inflammation or infection. You may also feel tired or run down.
  7. Loss of weight.
  8. Anaemia: Some Crohn’s disease patients develop anemia as a result of low iron levels caused by bloody stools or intestinal inflammation itself.
  9. Minor tears in the anus (anal fissures)

People suffering from severe Crohn’s disease may also suffer from:

  • Skin, eye, and joint inflammation
  • The liver or bile ducts are inflamed.
  • In children, delayed growth or sexual development

Diagnosis of Crohn’s Disease

To obtain bowel tissue for analysis, a colonoscopy or sigmoidoscopy is performed. Blood tests, including blood counts (often present are high white blood cell counts, a sign of inflammation, and low red blood cell counts, a sign of anemia from blood loss).
Stool samples will be taken to rule out infections as the cause of diarrhea.
Imaging techniques (such as a CT scan or MRI) of both the upper and lower gastrointestinal tracts may be ordered to confirm the location of the inflammation.

Diet for Crohn’s disease
Crohn’s disease diet
No diet can prevent new outbreaks in patients with controlled Crohn’s disease. Some people, however, can identify which
foods are harmful to them. If the acute outbreak is severe, the intestine must be restrained, and nutrition can only be administered through a vein(parenteral nutrition) or a nasogastric tube that delivers liquid food beyond the stomach (enteral nutrition).
Anti-inflammatories (ibuprofen, for example) should be avoided by Crohn’s disease patients because they can worsen the disease.

Other recommendations

  1. Smoking should be avoided by all Crohn’s disease patients because it can aggravate the disease.
  2. Anti-inflammatory medicine should be avoided.
  3. They should perform colonoscopies on a regular basis to rule out colon cancer.

Role of Homeopathy in Crohn’s Disease
Unlike allopathic treatment, which includes anti-inflammatory drugs and corticosteroids, which have a variety of side effects, homeopathy precisely targets your immune system and restores its balance to normalcy.
Homeopathic medicine is appropriate for each patient based on their overall health. Before treating each symptom with homeopathic medicines, your doctor will review your medical history. Because homeopathic treatments are made from natural ingredients, they are extremely safe and beneficial, with no side effects. Patients suffering from severe abdominal pain can benefit from medicines derived from aloe plants. Extracts of the perennial plant Podophyllum are used to treat diarrhea symptoms in Crohn’s disease patients.
Calcarea carbonica, derived from the shell’s middle layers is prescribed to patients with a history of chronic fatigue and poor diet.
According to reports, homeopathy has a success rate of more than 70% in treating symptoms of inflammatory bowel diseases such as Crohn’s disease.
